At
the beginning of 2002, my editor asked me if I'd like to write a regular column
in Good Times, in addition to my film reviews. "A column about
what?" I asked. "Anything," he replied.
If you're a writer given the opportunity to write about "anything"
for publication, the first thing you do is say "yes."
I figured the experiment would last a few weeks before they realized they'd
made a huge mistake and give me the hook. But the joke was on memy bi-weekly
column debuted in April, 2002, and continues to this day.
Response from you, the readers, has been incredible, and it's been terrific
fun for me. Besides the emails and letters of support I receive, strangers
even stop me on the street to tell me they love my work. Here are some of
my recent columns, some of my favorites, and some of yours.
